As a pupil, I would say that this is a pretty good school. The staff are generally supportive, and the teaching is reasonably effective. The school's music department is well equipped, but fails to live up to its reputation. In contrast with King David Primary, those who feel a Jewish education is of high priority tend to favour the school's Manchester namesake, but the Jewish ethos remains prominent even as numbers of Jewish pupils dwindle. This can cause problems for L.G.T.B.+ (particularly transgender) pupils, and non-Jewish pupils who are vocal about their own religions. However, the pupils themselves are broadly accepting, and discrimination is rare‚Äč.

I love this school so much x

St. Julie's Catholic High School

Good school. Teachers are all friendly and enthusiastic about their profession. Like all schools though, they have those group of girls who do spoil the reputation, although from my perspective get filtered out (leave or get kicked out) through the years. Sixth Form has a pleasant atmosphere. Learning becomes much more relaxed and motivating in Sixth Form; teachers become more like group tutors and can have conversations and laugh with students. This seems to increase positivity and engagement. Of course, the older girls understand that respect is the key to a good relationship with their classmates and teachers. This however lacks in the lower years and the pupils are more rowdy and cheeky. Most of the kids however are genuinely kind, polite and friendly. I would recommend this school to other parents

Just been to see school of rock that both of my grandaughters where in absolutely fab teachers work so hard with these kids well done kids amazing
